  • EIM Joins Coke's NASCAR Track Walk Program

On April 27th, Exercise is MedicineTM partner Coca-Cola held a Coca-Cola Family Track Walk at Richmond International Speedway. Thousands of race fans got a chance to walk the race track, along side the Coca-Cola racing members, and afterwards take part in all kinds of active family fun. Exercise is Medicine was called to join in this event, spreading the message about the importance of physical activity. The walk concluded with a Q&A on exercise and fitness with American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) member Ed Acevedo representing ACSM and EIM. This was a great opportunity to put the word out about Exercise is Medicine, and encourage individuals to join our program. The next event is in Charlotte over Memorial Day at the Coca-Cola 600.
