New Clients.  No Problem.

Be Prepared.
Before taking on new clients, make sure you have the tools and forms you need. The Health and Medical Questionnaire and Fitness Assessment are a great place to start. You'll also need a signed Informed Consent and Cancellations Policy prior to the first session.

Q&A
Be ready to answer questions about cost, availability, areas of expertise and the types of clients you assist. Have references and certification documents ready. Offer a free assessment or trial period to new clients. Be clear about your services and what you can deliver.

Be Informed.
Eventually, almost everyone will need to exercise with an illness or injury. Be ready to counsel them. Your Prescription for Health Series provides recommendations for exercising safely with a variety of health conditions. You can also learn about Physical Activity with a Disability and exercise and rehabilitation. These and many other resources are available at www.exerciseismedicinemonth.org.
