Make a Plan.  Make it Fun!

It's worth it. See for Yourself.
Exercise will improve your health. Still not convinced exercise is worth all the effort?  Fill out this Cost/Benefit Analyzer to find out just how. Once you commit to regular exercise, create a fitness plan to keep you on track. This Self-Assessment is a great place to start.

Make it Fun.
Make a list of classes you'd like to take or sports leagues you'd like to join. Maybe it's a yoga or pilates class or a softball or basketball league. Choose activities you enjoy that are to appropriate for your age and skill level. Most important, keep it simple. Here is a Basic Bodyweight Strength Program and Basic Stretching Program to get you started.

Get Moving! Start Slowly
Remember, it's a life-time commitment.  If you haven't been physically active for a while, be sure to ease into exercise.  Stretch all major muscle groups before and after your workouts. Build up your aerobic capacity. Start with a 10 minute walk if you need to and build up to 30 minutes or more. It'll happen. It just takes time.
