Make it Fun. Make a list of classes you'd like to take or sports leagues you'd like to join. Maybe it's a yoga or pilates class or a softball or basketball league. Choose activities you enjoy that are to appropriate for your age and skill level. Most important, keep it simple. Get Moving! Start Slowly Remember, it's a life-time commitment. If you haven't been physically active for a while, be sure to ease into exercise. Stretch all major muscle groups before and after your workouts. Build up your aerobic capacity. Start with a 10 minute walk if you need to and build up to 30 minutes or more. It'll happen. It just takes time.
