There is a Time and a Place.

Exercise When?
Life is busy. Things come up unexpectedly. Don't let them sabotage your fitness plan and commitment to regular exercise. Use this Exercise Time Finder to schedule time on you calendar now. Make exercise more than a habit. Make it a ritual. Be flexible too. Forgive yourself if you miss a time or two and get right back to it.

Find a Place.
Now that you've blocked time to workout, you'll need to find a place. Although a gym or club membership can help, it's not required! Find walking, hiking, biking, and running trails, tennis courts and swimming pools in your area or blaze your own trail!

Fitness faciliites can provide access to equipment and classes, motivation from others and professional assistance all in one place. Use this guide to choose the right one for you.

Invest in yourself and equipment.
In order to stay motivated, you must be willing to try new sports and activities. Read the Selecting and Effectively Using brochure series from the American College of Sports Medicine for some ideas:

Inspire Action.  Share Success Stories.

Do you make time to exercise? How do you fit it in? Are there public places to workout close by? Have you "made" your own gym? Share it with us now!
