Surround Yourself.

Be in Fitness Enviroment.
Have fitness information around your house, such as calendars of athletic events, brochures about the benefits of exercise or passes to a local gym. Read a fitness blog or magazine. Keep gym shoes, a towel, and water bottles handy at work, at home and in the car.  

 

Be Encouraged.
It's hard to do it alone. Ask a trusted friend or family member to hold you accountable. Exercise is a choice. Your friends and family have an interest in keeping you healthy and active. They will keep you motivated and challenged so you can see - and, more importantly, feel - the benefits of exercise.

 

Do it together.
Fitness is contagious. Have your fitness buddy sign up for the Exercise is Medicine Month™ email for the Public series too! It's easier to keep an appointment for exercise if you know someone is waiting for you. Don't let them or yourself down. Be there.

Inspire Action. Share Success Stories.
