Phil's Camino

The scientific evidence supporting the importance of exercise for people living with and beyond cancer is robust, deep and growing. However, knowing that exercise will help you with symptoms, treatment toxicities, and maybe even survival may be less motivating than a personal story….. particularly when that story is truly compelling.

Moving Through Cancer is delighted to have partnered with the The Fund for Sustainable Tomorrows to share a remarkable documentary called Phil’s Camino. This film describes the particular and unique journey of Phil Volker, a stage 4 colon cancer patient who uses a walking journey to take him to unexpected places, in the world and within himself.

This film can be viewed for a nominal fee by clicking here. We share the film in the hopes that it will motivate people living with and beyond cancer, and those who care about them, to get out and take a walk.
