The mission of the Moving Through Cancer (MTC) initiative is to assure that all people living with and beyond cancer are assessed, advised, referred to and engaged in appropriate exercise and rehabilitation programming as standard of care.
This initiative is housed under ACSM’s Exercise is Medicine (EIM) initiative. The MTC initiative is directed by the MTC Task Force, which is purposely multidisciplinary and international. This task force reports up through the EIM Governance Board and the ACSM Board of Trustees. Task Force members through 2022 include:
